This paper argues that the MMSI center is a good solution to the problem, since the center would promote assistance - both group and individual - too many women and would concurrently provide a place for education and research for the complex problem. This paper outlines the need for a one-time grant of $80 000 from the National Institute of Mental Health in order to commence the center. Finally, this paper provides an exposition of the name, history, purpose, and activities of the Mother Mental Support Initiative.
